Guala  Dispensing  (Suzhou)  Co.  Ltd  is  a  new  established  Italian  WFOE.  The  factory  location  is  the  Export  Processing  Zone  of  Suzhou  SND.

The  mother  company  is  Guala  Dispensing  S.p.A.,  a  privately  owned  company,  having  its  headquarters  and  manufacturing  plant  in  North  Italy  and  commercial  offices  in  Germany,  UK,  France  and  USA.  The  shareholders  are  members  of  the  Guala  family.

The  current  product  range  includes:

-  pump  dispensers  for  pastes

-  spray  guns  for  liquids

-  plastic  wine  stoppers

Since  1997  the  company  turnover  has  been  growing  at  an  average  pace  of  14%.  In  the  above  business  segment,  Guala  Dispensing  has  established  itself  as  world  leader  for  product  innovation  and  quality  delivered  to  customers,  the  main  competitors  being  companies  based  in  USA,  Europe  and  Japan.

Product  innovation,  through  continuous  investment  in  R&D,  is  considered  the  main  tool  to  maintain  the  current  competitive  position  in  the  market  and  to  sustain  the  company  growth.

R&D  expenditure  is  maintained  at  5%  of  revenues  and  the  R&D  department  employs  7%  of  the  total  company  staff.  Guala  Dispensing  owns  over  50  international  patents  and,  since  1999,  all  new  patents  are  filed  also  in  PRC.

The  main  customers  are  multinational  companies  such  as  Colgate,  Reckitt  Benckiser,  McBride,  Unilever,  Henkel.  The  export  sales  ratio  is  over  90%.

NECESSARY  REQUIREMENTS  FOR  THE  POSITION:

-College  or  higher  qualification  in  Scientific/  technical  disciplines

-Familiar  with  the  use  of  PC  and  MS  Office

-Good  knowledge  of  statistical  quality  control  methods

-Application  of  the  quality  tools  for  the  continuous  improvement.

PREFERRED  SKILLS:

-Previous  experience  in  QC  department

-Knowledge  and  Application  of  ISO  9001  standard

-Good  knowledge  of  injection  molding  of  plastic  materials

-Capability  to  read  and  understand  a  technical  drawing

-Good  spoken  and  written  English

-Auditor  Skills

GENERAL  DESCRIPTION  OF  THE  ROLE:

Be  responsible  of  finished  products  outgoing  quality  and  finished  goods  release.  Have  strong  interest  and  ability  in  quality  issues  troubleshooting  and  in  process  QC  issues.

Coordinate  the  activities  of  the  shift  IP-QC  staff  together  with  the  production  manager.

To  work  (with  other  department  and  the  headquarter)  in  order  to  reach  the  Quality  target.

Prepare  quality  control  procedures  and  keep  documentation  of  quality  system  updated.

Coordinate  the  validation  activities  of  new  products,  processes  and  raw  materials.

Cooperate  in  the  Quality  System  management  and  its  conformity  to  the  ISO  9001.

Problem  solving  activity,  in  order  to  find  the  cause  of  defects  and  to  correct  them.

To  issue  reports  of  activities.
